Tonight is the night! After lots of hard work, time, effort, and finally learning CSS we have gotten the site to a point were we feel comfortable with sharing it with the world. This is so much more than just putting up a website, it means sharing with the world just what I do with my free time, and how I feel about the world around me. Along with the site going life we are also going to start pushing out the Lifestyles Wiki to a wider audience with the hopes of improving upon the current content and most importantly growing the content out there. Lifestyles is the simplest project WiBrations is working on in a technical sense, but making this information available to the public at the sophistication level we are aiming for is one of our most important goals.

Enjoy all the work we have done, and I look forward to everything that will be coming next.

WiBrations Main Site Future Notes:

Large changes still to come

  • A more robust and interesting right sidebar, as more content is generated I will have more ideas as to how to better fill that space.
  • More content to the WiBrations site itself, mainly information about the organization itself.
  • Printer friendly CSS template to make the main page and anything else under WiBrations printable

Anal-Retentive things I want to change code-wise

  • Change the +/- signs to CSS buttons instead of linked images
  • Rewrite the html/javascript dropdown boxes to downgrade to non-css functionality

Obligatory First Post

Greetings Visitors!

The aim of this blog will be to keep record of everything going on in the world of WiBrations. From project updates to discussions of relevant topics. I look forward to keeping this site updated with the work I will soon be doing on the various WiBrations projects.  The Wibrations site is moving along well and will be going live in a few weeks along with a working Wibrations Wiki and a Lifestyles Wiki.  Dana has graciously offered to share her Primal Discourse blog on the main site as well.  Till then, relax and enjoy 2008.
